About the project

BriefCase is a UAE-based legal service provider offering expert support in areas such as tax, fraud, and criminal cases. To streamline access to legal services and document translations, the client needed a mobile app that connects lawyers, users, and translation companies in a secure and intuitive platform. The goal was to design a solution that makes legal consultations and translations faster, more transparent, and user-friendly.

Objectives

The key objectives of the project were to create an app that:

  • Have an intuitive interface for multiple user roles (lawyers, users, translators).

ArcLab designed the BriefCase app with a user-centric approach. We focused on creating a platform that balances complex legal and translation functionalities with simplicity and clarity:
  • Consultation & Case Management: Lawyers can track cases, manage consultations, and update statuses seamlessly.
  • Real-Time Chat & Query System: Users can ask questions directly to lawyers or communicate with translation companies in real time.
  • Translation Services: Documents can be uploaded and translated into multiple languages, with translation companies integrated directly into the workflow.
  • Ratings & Feedback: Users can rate lawyers and provide feedback, promoting accountability and trust.
  • Multi-Role UX/UI: Interfaces were carefully tailored for different user roles while maintaining consistency and simplicity.

Responsiveness

The app was designed to be fully responsive and optimized for mobile devices, ensuring that all features are easily accessible on smartphones and tablets. Key workflows, such as document translation, case updates, and chat messaging, remain smooth and intuitive regardless of screen size.
