About the project

Clinicly is a mobile application designed to connect users in Abu Dhabi with clinics, spas, and beauty parlors in one centralized platform. The app enables service providers to list their offerings, while users can browse services, contact agencies directly, and leave reviews based on their experiences.
ArcLab was entrusted with designing a seamless, scalable, and user-friendly mobile experience that serves two key audiences:

Service providers (clinics, spas, beauty centers)
End users searching for trusted services

The challenge was to create a marketplace experience that builds trust, simplifies discovery, and encourages engagement.

Objectives

The primary objectives of the project were:

Design an intuitive marketplace app for healthcare and beauty services.
Build a trustworthy review-based ecosystem for users.
Enable direct communication between users and service providers.
Ensure simple account management and transparency features (including account deletion).
Create a scalable design system for future feature expansion.

The goal was not just to design an app—but to design a digital ecosystem that users feel confident using.

Requirements

During discovery and planning, we identified the following core requirements:

Service listing system for clinics, spas, and beauty parlors.
Detailed service pages including descriptions, contact numbers, and reviews.
User review and rating functionality.
Direct contact feature via phone integration.
User account dashboard for managing profile and preferences.
Clear and accessible account deletion request flow.
Clean, modern UI suitable for a healthcare and beauty audience.
High usability across different user age groups.

The app needed to balance professionalism (healthcare) with elegance (beauty industry).

Solutions

To fulfill the client’s needs, we delivered the following solutions:

We designed a clean category-based navigation system that allows users to easily browse:

Filters and structured listings make service discovery fast and intuitive.

Trust-Centered Review System
Since healthcare and beauty services rely heavily on trust, we focused on:

Direct Contact Integration
Instead of complicating communication with internal messaging systems, we implemented direct phone contact functionality. Users can instantly call agencies through the app, reducing friction and increasing conversion potential.
This keeps the experience fast and action-oriented.

User Account Management
We designed a simple and accessible user dashboard where users can:
Update profile information
Manage preferences
Review activity
Request account deletion
The account deletion flow was intentionally designed to be transparent and compliant, reinforcing user trust and data control.

Clean & Professional UI System
The visual language of Clinicly was designed to:
Feel modern and minimal
Communicate professionalism and safety
Use calming color tones aligned with healthcare & wellness
Maintain clarity in typography and layout
We created a scalable design system that allows future feature additions without breaking visual consistency.

Responsiveness & Usability

Although Clinicly is a mobile-first app, responsiveness and adaptability were key design considerations:

Optimized layouts for different mobile screen sizes
Touch-friendly interaction zones
Clear CTA buttons for quick contact
Simplified forms for faster input
Performance-conscious UI patterns for smooth user experience

Special attention was given to readability and accessibility, ensuring the app is usable by a broad audience demographic.
