About the project

DeliverMeat is a UK‑based food delivery service focused on delivering high‑quality meat products and food directly to customers’ doors. As the platform expanded, the need arose for a robust administrative interface that could help the internal team manage orders, inventory, customers, and logistics efficiently. Our team was contracted to design a comprehensive Admin Dashboard that would empower the DeliverMeat operations team with clarity and control over the business workflows.

Objectives

The main goals of this project were to:
  • Create a centralised admin interface that gives real‑time visibility into business operations.
  • Enable non‑technical staff to easily manage orders, products, delivery status, and customer data.
  • Support operational decision‑making through dashboards and reports.
  • Improve efficiency by presenting data clearly and prioritising actionable insights.
These objectives ensured the deliverable would help the team maintain high service quality as orders and customer expectations grew.

Requirements

To meet the client’s operational needs, the dashboard had to:
  • Provide clear analytics and reporting on orders, sales, and delivery performance.
  • Include a modular layout for managing key business entities: products, orders, customers, delivery partners, and promotions.
  • Support real‑time updates on new orders and delivery statuses.
  • Offer intuitive navigation and usability for diverse admin roles.
  • Integrate user management and settings for access control.
These requirements were foundational to building a tool that would reduce manual workload and increase oversight without technical complexity.

To address DeliverMeat’s needs, we designed an Admin Dashboard that delivered:
